Holding two doctoral degrees — in Immunological Biochemistry from the University of Bristol and in International Relations from Omdurman Islamic University — Dr. Elamin brings a rare combination of scientific discipline and diplomatic experience to the study of Islam and global affairs.

Today he serves as Program Director and Professor of Islam and Global Affairs at the College of Islamic Studies, Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Doha, and as an Associate Fellow of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. His scholarship and advocacy consistently emphasize intercultural dialogue, humanitarian diplomacy, peacebuilding, and ethical leadership rooted in regional perspectives.
